Improvement of poor discharge of granules and fine powder mixture (Film Factory)

Introducing a case study of a Brody disk that resolved issues with poor pellet discharge!

This time, we will introduce a case study of the Brodie disk in the recycling-related processes of a film manufacturing plant. The granules of film scraps (including fine powders) were experiencing discharge issues due to residue adhesion in the raw material hopper. The installation of this equipment has resolved the problems. 【Overview】 ■ Hopper Overview ・Body diameter: 1000φ ・Discharge diameter: 100A ■ Granule size: Approximately a few mm 【Key Points of This Equipment】 ■ The elastic disk (silicone) is very important in terms of foreign matter contamination risk, as strength and durability are crucial. The silicone disk of this equipment excels in strength and durability. Once you use it, you will understand! ■ Control (how to aerate?) is important! We provide guidance on what should be done. A dedicated controller is also available. * For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us. * Our website features numerous case studies, which you can check through the link below.

Improvement of poor rubber powder dust emission.

As a bridge measure, one standard Brody disk is installed on each side, totaling four! The results are, of course, good.

This is an introduction to an example of adopting a Brody disk as a countermeasure for rubber buff powder (powder from shaved rubber) bridges. Upon reviewing the sample, it was found to be relatively dry; however, it can become quite troublesome due to humidity on rainy days. After consulting with the customer, we decided to install one standard Brody disk on each side, totaling four disks, and to activate the air for each one at a relatively high air pressure. The results were, of course, favorable. 【Case Overview】 ■ Hopper Overview: 600×600 (Discharge Section: 100×100) ■ Product Specifications - Brody Disk "BD-15S-B": 4 units - Controller "C-SV4": 1 unit *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Improvement of poor discharge of stone powder (filler)

This is an introduction to the case study of the bridge breaker "Brodisk."

This is an introduction to the implementation case of the bridge breaker "Brodisk." Unlike other bridge breakers, it does not cause the powder particles to degas due to impact or vibration, which prevents clogging. It also does not damage the tank. If you are having trouble with powder particles, please consult us. 【Key Points of Our Equipment】 ■ The elastic disk (silicone) is very important in terms of strength and durability, especially considering the risk of foreign matter contamination. The silicone disk of our equipment is exceptionally strong and durable. Once you use it, you will understand! ■ Control (how to aerate?) is crucial! We provide guidance on what should be done. We also have a dedicated controller available. We have published numerous implementation examples on our website. You can check them out via the link below.

Improvement of discharge failure from the acrylic resin hopper.

An example of improving the discharge failure from the acrylic resin hopper using a blow disk.

To improve the outflow and discharge issues from the hopper of fine acrylic resin powder, a blow disk has been installed. The powder has a low apparent specific gravity and small particle size, and before the countermeasure with the blow disk, it seemed to be clogging above the discharge rotary valve. After the countermeasure, it has stabilized and is now discharging properly. If you provide us with details about the powder (name, particle size, and other characteristics) and the hopper dimensions, we can guide you on the appropriate models and operating methods. Please feel free to contact us. 【Key Points of This Equipment】 ■ The elastic disk (silicone) is very important in terms of strength and durability, especially considering the risk of foreign matter contamination. The silicone disk in our equipment is exceptionally strong and durable. We believe you will understand this once you use it! ■ Control (how to aerate?) is crucial! We provide guidance on what should be done. We also have a dedicated controller available. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us. *Our website features numerous case studies, which you can check through the link below.

0653 Improvement of calcium carbonate discharge issues

Easily solve powder bridging! We will introduce case studies of BroaDisk implementation.

Here is a case study of the introduction of the "Brodisk." We received an inquiry from a customer who was unable to naturally discharge the contents from the hopper and was addressing the issue by poking it from below with a stick. We collected the hopper drawings and a sample of the contents and presented a proposal for the introduction. The user's problem was resolved through the implementation. 【Case Overview】 ■ Target Material: Calcium carbonate (mainly granular, but also includes fine powder) ■ Hopper: Diameter Ø700, discharge 150A, eccentric hopper ■ Equipment Arrangement: A total of 4 units installed, with varying heights primarily on the steep incline Lower level - 1 unit; Middle level - 2 units; Upper level - 1 unit ■ Control: All 4 units simultaneously operated with air ON/OFF by a controller C-SV1 with 1 built-in solenoid valve. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
